The towel depicts important places in Burns' life including his birth place, Mossgiel Farm where he spent much of his life, and the church at Alloway. Lots of Scottish thistle fill in the spaces and the right side is dominated by a statue-like image of Burns and a dog. The towel is 21 x 30 inches and in perfect unused condition.
