This souvenir tea towel is linen, made in Ireland for Lamont. The theme is not really typical of souvenir towels as it features the Australian canefields and the sugar cane industry. Shown are storage towers, terminal, train, loading equipment, the sugar institute, mill, mechanical and hand harvesting and buring the cane before harvesting. The largest illustration is of the cane cutters monument.
The towel is 18 x 28 inches and in used, laundered but undamaged condition.
