This souvenir spoon from Wales has a relief emblem in the bowl, an ornate stem and is capped with a figural depiction of a towel identified only as Wales. In the bowl is a relief of a griffen on a shield surrounded by a banner and topped with a coronation crown. The words on the banner are in Welsh and read, "Y Ddraig Goch Ddyry Cychwyn."
On the back is marked, Silver plated made in Holland, and a shield that bears the letters W E. This spoon is 5 inches long. Condition is very good vintage.
